Camped for two nights in our own tent with a dog. Loved the shower and toilet block set-up, so nicely finished and lovely hot water. Would have been great to have access to a fridge but so be it. The location is very nice and east access to Deal, Sandwich and excellent walks. Great stay.
Suzanne Hillyard2024-09-02We have just got back from a really lovely weekend at Gary and Sara campsite! We arrived at lunchtime and was greeted by Sara who was friendly and chatty and showed us around the site. The toilets and shower block are modern and were spotless the whole time. Really quiet and peaceful location. Big thank you to Gary for helping us get our tent pegs out that my husband had hammered too hard into the ground!! Highly recommend this campsite and we will definitely be returning soon.
Maria Cawley2024-08-31Great site , visited for 2 nights , very helpful & friendly owners who care a great deal and made us welcome, shower/sink/toilets all new & clean and nice part of the experience, lots of room around us and beds very comfortable mattresses and duvets , utensil box well equipped and fire pit was Lovery in the evening x thank you for having us we will recommend and return !
Paige Treserden2024-08-31Such a wonderful little find! The bell tents are so lovely, fully equipped with everything you could need. We stayed in one of the larger tents, it was so roomy and the beds were very comfortable for glamping! We took a lovely walk into the small town (along a road with no path but very few cars passed), drove out to get local fish and chips to bring back and eat at the picnic table and also made full use of the fire pit in the evening. The site was so quiet and peaceful, toilet, shower and washing up facilities were great and the hosts were so friendly! Overall a wonderful stay.
Simon Edkins2024-08-27Great stay with Sara and Gary! They were very friendly and responsive to communications. The kids had a great time on the site and made friends with other families staying. We stayed in a Bell Tent/Glamping and it had everything that you needed. Worth checking the website in advance to make sure that you know the details of what is and isn't included.
Ben Colling2024-08-23We had the experience of camping for the last few days and also the added luxury of having a deluxe bell tent for our partners last night ! Great hosts and very attentive ! Nothing was an issue, they both keep the fields and amenities to a decent standard and a great friendly manor too ! Made some great camping buddies and shared the nights with laughter and great fires even though it was a hurricane the last two days ! A great base to discover the nearby Sandwich and Sandwich Bay, Dover, Margate and Whitstable …. The only negative to mention was that of the weather …. But still a great time had and already in talks with friends to re visit ! Awsome 👍
Amina Malik Art2024-08-21Really enjoyed our time here. Beautiful campsite and peaceful surroundings. We were able to choose our own pitch. Clean toilets and showers with hot water. Area for washing dishes and separate washbasins for brushing teeth. May be useful to have your own little lantern as the lighting is very low at night in the service area. Would camp here again.
JKH Howard2024-08-18The campsite is spacious, and pitches are well marked. I liked that we had an option of choosing our own tent pitch. The toilets and showers were very modern, practicaly set up and clean. We had no issues with hot water. Loved every minute we spent there.
